Proper installation and maintenance are essential for maximizing the longevity and performance of your Walk In Swim Spa. Below, we provide comprehensive guidelines for both installation and ongoing care.

Installation:

  1. Location Selection:
    • Your Walk In Swim Spa requires a Concrete pad installed by a licensed contractor.
    • Pad requirements 20ft by 10ft Concrete Pad.
      • 5 to 6 Inches Thick, with Rebar inlayed.
      • Dig a hole 20Ft. by 8ft.,6 Inches deep, so you will be level with Ground.
    • Ask contractor for decking details.
    • Delivery to backyard is by Crane.
    • Ensure the area can support the weight of the spa, including water and occupants.
    • Confirm access to power sources and comply with local electrical codes.
  2. Clearance and Accessibility:
    • Leave sufficient clearance around the spa for easy access.
    • Ensure the Walk In steps have unobstructed entry and exit paths.
  3. Electrical Setup:
    • Consult a licensed electrician for proper electrical installation.
    • Walk In Swim Spa requires a USA (240V) (60 AMP Dedicated Line)
    • Adhere to the electrical specifications outlined in the user manual.
  4. Water Source and Drainage:
    • Connect the spa to a clean and reliable water source.
    • Establish proper drainage to manage water changes and maintenance.

Care and Maintenance

  1. Water Quality:
    • Regularly test and balance the water chemistry using appropriate test kits.
    • Follow the recommended water care products to maintain water quality.
  2. Filtration System:
    • Unicel Filters for Replacement (4) 50 sq ft Filters, (2) Top Filters 6ch-941, (2) Bottom Filters 6ch-942
    • Clean or replace the filters as per the specified intervals.
    • Monitor the filtration system for any signs of wear or damage.
    • For Cleaning
      Rectangle skimmer place which is above your entry steps into the spa, lift/slide up.
      Slide basket out (clean). (4) 50sgft filters (2 On top of the other).
      Turn/Spin (2) top filters, Turn/Spin (2) bottom filters.Interior look at the pump system
      You can soak/wash filters, or put all 4 filters into your dishwasher, run cycle, take out before dry/heating cycle.
      Do the reverse application for putting your filters, basket and skimmer plate back into position.
  3. Surface Cleaning:
    • Use mild, non-abrasive cleaners to clean the interior and exterior surfaces.
    • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that may damage the spa finish.
  4. Walk In Steps:
    • Inspect the Walk In steps for any signs of wear or damage.
    • Keep the steps clean to ensure safe and easy entry into the spa.
  5. Cover Maintenance:
    • Keep the spa cover clean and free from debris.
    • Regularly inspect the cover for any wear and tear and replace as needed.
  6. Temperature Control:
    • Follow the user manual for temperature control settings.
    • Ensure the heating system is functioning properly.
  7. Routine Check-ups:
    • Periodically check all components, including jets, pumps, and controls.
    • Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
